It has been a busy week. Although I took a month off from work, Gabby made the decision to arrive three weeks into my hiatus. When it came time to head back to work, she didn't seem to care too much.
Before I headed back to work, we decided it was time to get a new car. We had a 2009 Toyota Rav-4, which we really liked, but with the new government mandates keeping Toyota from making a 6 cylinder (don't get me started on this) past 2012 I decided it was not only a good idea, but probably a good investment to get the last of the 6 cylinders.
One of the other things that has been interesting since we brought Gabby home was her relationship with our 6 year old male cat, Pitot. He has always loved being around people, but has never been around little people. This is a picture of Pitot observing Gabby from above, much as a cougar stalks its prey. Thankfully we haven't had any issues with Pitot trying to eat Gabby, and the relationship is.... well, growing.

Gabby's New Blog

Hello Everyone,

I haven't had the opportunity to meet most of you yet, but I look forward to it in the near future! I agreed to let my dad start a blog about my life and adventures so that those of you who wanted to see what we were up to would be able to. He'll be posting as often as he can so that nobody falls behind on what I'm doing. The only agreement we had was that he didn't do it on Facebook. We all know he is nauseatingly proud of me (gag!) and I didn't want him posting 24/7 on things like Gabby eating, Gabby sleeping, Gabby moved her hand, etc. So, you can come here as often or as little as you like. We all know that dad will be posting!
